Recently, the point checks have not been done properly. Security guards must conduct pointchecks at the designated times and NUMERIC ORDER. If, due to an incident or special instructions from the supervisor, the point checks are not carried out, the reason must be clearly noted in the log report.
Report any findings during the 2.1 POINTCHECK patrol.
Any garbage/cardboard found outside the bin. If found, upload the photo and place it in the bin.
Report the start and end times of traffic management due to heavy traffic.
If a case number (file number) is generated, an incident report must also be written.
If the sump pump fails to operate and causes an overflow.
If any discarded items are found, for example, furniture, appliances, etc.

All parking tickets issued must be entered during the shift. Canceled tickets must also be entered.

Action Procedure - Give three warnings to leave the site. If these warnings are ignored, Call Burnaby RCMP non emergency 604-646-9999. And wait in front of Hana Bank until the homeless individual is dealt with.

Strengthening gas leak inspections. Report any gas smells or leaks, especially near the Jejudo Restaurant and Le Miel Bakery on the 2F. Particular attention should be paid to fire watching in these areas. The continuous beeping from the fire panel is due to this issue.
Special Notice from Building Management
Does it smell like rotten eggs? It could be a gas leak. If you smell rotten eggs or sulfur, you may have a gas leak. Go outside and call the FortisBC emergency line at 1-800-663-9911 (24 hours a day) or 911. Gas odor management and response guidance If you smell gas or have an unpleasant gas-like odor within Koreatown Center, we ask that you follow these guidelines to ensure your all-related safety:
1) Cases where the odor may or may not be severe include:
• Building Manager will visit the site to determine the cause of the odor and check the surrounding conditions.
• If an abnormality is discovered or a situation requires action, we respond appropriately and provide additional guidance if necessary.
2) If the odor is strong or a hazard is suspected:
• First, evacuate the area immediately and move to a safe place.
• After evacuation, contact FortisBC directly to report the situation.
• After reporting to FortisBC, inform the building manager or building security of the situation so they can follow up.
3) Important note:
• If a strong gas odor is detected, do not ask the building manager or other employees to personally inspect the site or confirm the situation. This may jeopardize their safety. The best course of action is to report it immediately so that expert FortisBC can respond. These guidelines are intended to protect the safety of all users and personnel within the building. If you have any additional questions or special circumstances, please contact the building management office. For your information, after an accident occurred in a nearby building on December 29th 2024, we requested that security personnel in the building strengthen patrols even more.
• If any abnormalities are discovered, we are instructed to immediately contact the building manager, and we are prepared to respond quickly to all situations.
